MISSION

The mission of the Fulbright Association is to advocate for the Fulbright Program and promote international education. Our vision is a world where international exchange is widely recognized as a force for peace.

GOALS

The Houston/Southeast Texas Chapter of the Fulbright Association is a regionally based chapter serving Fulbright alumni and friends of international exchange. The chapter is focused on hosting engaging programs and events for Fulbright alumni and visiting Fulbright students and scholars throughout the region, including Houston, Galveston, and Sugar Land. The chapter is closely affiliated with universities and colleges in the region, and often co-sponsors programs with these institutions.

We invite you to join the Houston/Southeast Texas Fulbright Google Group, a new primary way of staying connected with Fulbright alumni, scholars, students, and friends across the Houston region.

Through the group, we’ll share:

• Chapter events and gatherings
• Fulbright-related news and opportunities
• Invitations to connect with visiting Fulbrighters
• Advocacy and volunteer opportunities
• Ways to engage with and support our local Fulbright community

You can also use the email group to share questions, raise discussion, and request support across the community.

This Google Group is a solution for our regional connection without allocating funds to a Mail Chimp/Constant Contact account. Thank you for your patience in us navigating this new tool!
